ALBAWABA - The United Kingdom Prime Minister has sacked controversial home secretary Suella Braverman and is expected to carry out a cabinet shuffle today.
The home secretary has been under increased pressure after writing an article in the Times, published on Thursday. She criticized what she called "pro-Palestinian mobs", saying protest scenes were "disturbingly reminiscent" to those seen in Northern Ireland, BBC reported.
She also slammed the Met Police for a "double standard" over their handling of protests.
Update
As part of the cabinet reshuffle, Sunak has appointed former Prime Minister David Cameron as the new foreign secretary. Also, James Cleverly has been appointed as Braverman's replacement.
