Khamenei: Muslims facing victories
Posted: 07-12-2008 , 13:47 GMT

KhameneiIran's Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Sunday that over the past thirty years, the Middle East and Islamic countries in Asia and Africa have been witnessing victories in campaign for freedom. He made these remarks in his message to the Hajj pilgrims, which was read by his representative for Hajj affairs, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri during the disavowal of pagans ceremony held in Arafat Desert, near holy Mecca.

Palestine and the Islamic Intifada and the emergence of a Muslim Palestinian government; Lebanon and the historic victory of Hizbullah and the Islamic resistance to the "arrogant bloodthirsty" Zionist regime; Iraq and the establishment of a Muslim and populist government on the ruins of the atheist regime and the dictator Saddam; Afghanistan and the humiliating defeat of the Communist occupiers and their puppet government are clear indications of the triumph of Islam in its struggle against its enemies in this century.

According to IRNA, the Iranian leader reiterated that failure of all plots hatched by arrogant America to dominate the Middle East; the incurable problems and chaos inside the usurper Zionist regime; prevalence of the Islam-seeking masses in all or most of the neighboring countries and especially among the youth and intellectuals; the amazing scientific and technological progress in the Islamic Iran achieved under severe economic sanctions and embargoes; defeat of warmongers in America in political and economic arenas and Muslim minorities' regaining their true identity and dignity in most of the Western countries are among other indications of advancement of Islam in its fight against its enemies.

Ha Ha Ha, i only see violence. The first Gulf war was about liberating one Arab state - Kuwait - from occupation by another Arab state, Iraq. Where were the arabs on this issue, what did they do nothing! the west helped chase them out of this country and make iraq a beeter one. but it is up to iraq to select thier own govererment. thier own people should do this. not any other country. it can help and suggest. but the final word should be its own people. in its own country not a neibour one either.

If I knew for a fact that he doesn't drink, I would think he was completely drunk when he was speaking this sad diatribe. When will Iranian's leaders wake up and see reality?
