Famous Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has agreed to star in a new film with the young Egyptian singer Muhammad Hamaqi, his first film. 
According to Mazika.com, the new film, called “Fawq Jazirah Li Wahdna” (Alone on an Island), was written by Tamer Habib and produced by the ‘Arabic Production Company,’ owned by the Egyptian actress Souad Yunis. The budget for the film is set at 8 million Egyptian pounds. A director has yet to be chosen.
In the romantic story of “Alone on an Island” a poor young man falls in love with a young woman from a rich family. Since both come from various social classes, they face many problems cause by their friends and families. Both lovers decide to go and live alone on an island, believing their love will keep them alive.
Muna has been working on her latest film “Aswar Al Qamar” (The Moon Fences) for nearly a year with the director Tareq Al Aryan. Due to numerous problems the film is still incomplete.
