Days before the filming the first scenes of the new film “Imarit Ya’qoubain”, Tunisian actress Hind Sabri shocked the entire cast with her sudden withdrawal. Hind’s actions caused for a rise of a state of emergency for the filmmakers, especially since time was not on their side and they had to find an immediate replacement.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the chaos Hind created was mainly because she was to play one of the major roles in the film and she did not give any warnings that she would withdrawal. The actress had previously announced her joy and honor at being one of the actors nominated to participate in the grand project alongside some of the most prominent names in the acting industry.
The shock of Hind’s withdrawal was as big as the shock of her sudden return to the set of the film, a matter that confused everyone taking part in the film. The actress revealed that her withdrawal was mainly due to the fact that she is at the same time filming the scenes of another film “Malak wa Kitaba”, which had been postponed several times, and the actress had thought she would be finished with filming the scenes before starting the new project.
Her return to film set of “Amarit Ya’qoubain” was a result of the feeling of possible regret the actress would have if she turned down such an important opportunity, in addition to the request of the cast of the film, who all stressed their desire in having Hind keep her role. The filmmakers came to an agreement with Hind to divide her time properly in order to be able to shoot scenes for both works without having to give one up.
It was rumored that the main reason behind Hind’s withdrawal was due to the fact that her role was based on too much seduction, a matter rumors say she refused. The actress stressed that the rumor holds no truth to it and despite the fact that her role involves some seduction, she does not mind playing such parts.
