Posted: 30-08-2008 , 08:10 GMT

Young Egyptian superstar Tamer Husni will meet his Lebanese fans for the first time, although it is not his first visit to Lebanon. tamer

Last week Tamer hosted a live concert at the “Forum Due” in Beirut, drawing a large number of fans. The concert did not lack hysterical fans and crying girls, commonplace at Tamer’s concerts.

According to the London daily Elaph, Tamer is working on his new album that will feature a new music beat.

Tamer’s new film “Captain Hema” started out with great success, but ticket sales have rapidly decreased over the past two weeks. Tamer admitted that the film will not be as successful as his previous film, “Omar Wa Salma,” also starring the famous young Egyptian actress May Iz Al Deen.

Tamer recently celebrated a birthday.
